Post retirement
Having sold my previous yacht (Carioca) due to pressure of work, with the onset of the pandemic I took the decision to retire, and found myself without any waterborne transport!
We owned Carioca for nearly 10 years and sailed her extensively in the South and West Coast of the UK, the Channel Isles and Northern France.
Carioca was a Moody 45 DS (Deck Saloon) and was a wonderful seagoing vessel. Her lack of range was entirely down to our limited time to sail.
We had some wonderful family holidays on her and Sue and I shed a tear when we sold her!
