A day in harbour maybe 2!

Nice and humid here!

Our dinner in Andre’s was wonderful.

Mouclade. Curried mussels.
Casoulet
St Nicholas Tower by night.
The leading light – can be seen from the sea and in combination with other lights guides vessels safely in to the harbour.
The old harbour where we are

Woke to fresh croissant and coffee, boiled on the hob. Then in the morning we;

– fixed the water maker tank sensor (was supplied upside down!)

– lubricated the bow thruster controller (had suffered water damage previously)

– transferred our reserve fuel to the main tank (to prevent it going stale)

– had the Mastervolt engineers on board. They switched it off and on and it worked! I had done that myself yesterday so it appears we have the worst of all problems- an intermittent fault. Possible cause they said was overheating as it was very hot yesterday. No sooner had they left the boat, the fault reappeared so we have ordered a spare part which arrives today, we are told!

So by 12:00 jobs done and we explored this beautiful city.

    Looks wonderful. Good opportunity for rest, refuelling and general maintenance of sailors and yacht.
